Meet the 8-year-old girl with an IQ higher than Einstein and Hawking

At just eight years old, Adara Maite Perez Sanchez stands out with her exceptional intellect and academic achievements, boasting an IQ of 162, surpassing those of renowned geniuses like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. Originating from Boca del Rio, Mexico, and later moving to Mexico City, Adara’s early life was challenging due to her Asperger’s syndrome diagnosis, which hindered her social integration from a young age.

Despite these obstacles, Adara’s profound aptitude, particularly in mathematics and astronomy, shone through. Her mother, Nayeli, recognized her daughter’s potential and nurtured it, leading Adara to excel academically at an unprecedented pace. Her talents were formally acknowledged when she was deemed gifted after a specialized assessment.

Forgoing the conventional education path due to financial constraints, Adara swiftly completed high school and embarked on higher education. She is concurrently pursuing industrial and systems engineering online and delving into mathematics and English studies at the National Independent University of Mexico. Moreover, Adara is actively engaged in an international aerospace program facilitated by NASA experts, nurturing her aspiration to venture into space like her idol, Buzz Aldrin.

With plans to advance her education in astrophysics at the University of Arizona, Adara’s future in the scientific community looks promising. Her inclusion in Forbes’ list of influential Mexican women underscores her significant impact at a tender age. Yet, amidst her extraordinary pursuits, Adara finds joy in everyday activities like playing with her sister and assembling Lego sets, embodying the balance of a prodigious yet typical childhood.
